This series of photographs is based on a diary in which Kyoko Kasuya transcribes her own dreams. In December 2010 and January 2011, she photographed various places present in her dreams, such as her elementary school, the road to her high school and university, the office where she worked as a salaried employee, and so on. She chose not to show any human presence, to express the unreality inherent in dream territories. She associated these images with each other to imagine a day she could have lived by relying on light. Premonitory: three months later, a major earthquake triggered a nuclear accident in Japan, shots of lifeless places, the theme of dreams.
